As we aim to introduce a line of sophisticated DVB products to our portfolio, we now focus the spotlight on the DVB-C - an advanced monitoring probe, fully compliant with DVB-C standards. It boasts a powerful, DSP Based high-end digital tuner and allows for accurate and dependable monitoring with detailed DVB-C component information and PID alarms. In addition to advanced decoding and monitoring of the MPEG transport stream, this tool also supports ETR290 monitoring, priority 1, 2 and 3. Among the impressive features of this product are the selectable wide range IF filter bandwidth, the advanced QAM Analyzer and the Channel Impulse Response display, as well as the spectrum analyzer allowing checks of the RF carrier. It also lets users choose between a predefined DVB channels scan or manual tune. This product offers PLP extraction and TS PLP analysis, and can monitor sequentially multiple channel frequencies or PLPs. Adjustable MIN/MAX alarms are provided for RF, SNR, BER and MER, with alarm dispatch achieved via email, SNMP ver. 2C or GPO. DB2004-C also has Service Availability Error and Service Degradation Error functionality and is extremely easy to set up and control, guaranteeing top performance.
Spoiling our customers for choice, we will be bringing another two iterations of this product. A basic, cost-effective version, still providing accurate monitoring and full compliance with the DVB-C standards, and a compact version with an elegant and practical design.
